Structure of our RF-Cabin is made of laminated timber beams covered with copper foil. This technology allows to customise the shape of Faraday’s cage and adapt to complicated shapes of rooms dedicated for Faraday’s cage.

One of the most important structure member of our RF-Cabins is the door. It must be with perfect acoustic insulation rated 42-48 dB and RF-window with additional glazing with safety glass and acoustic insulation rated 46-50 dB.

Olbrich GmbH also supply and install passive shielding for RF Cabins with electrotechnics steel sheets. Additionally if required active shielding can be offered and installed.

RF Cabin also can be made of prefabricated aluminium or stainless steel modules depends on the environment to insulate low or high frequencies (Hz – Ghz) and soundproofing values od dB to fulfilled requirements of the Customer.

RF-cage covers

The wall covers are made of 18 mm up to 22 mm melamine resin panels with a broad choice of colors, allowing you to create your own color interior design. Wall finishing can be made also of plasterboard painted in any color or covered with wallpaper or photo wallpaper with your favourite view or like a virtual openings to the outdoors. For floor coverings we use high quality products with a long live cycle from a wide range of colors and shapes.

Suspended ceilings

The suspended ceiling consisting of sound dumping material with mineral fibre plates or even with sound acoustical ones reduce noise levels in interior spaces and stone wool which provides no sustenance to microorganisms (Microbiological class M1) dedicated to the Clean Rooms. For the special design we can offer an individual ceiling appearance made of aluminum panels.

RF door

An RF cage is only as effective as its weakest penetration point, our RF door, meets the highest demands in design, functionality and high attenuation characteristics. This is outfitted with a safety lock which can be opened from the inside at all times.

RF door with pneumatic opening and closing assistance

Our RF door with pneumatic opening and closing assistance offers outstanding ease of use; these functions require virtually no force. In addition, one can completely open and close the doors with an optional electrical door opener. Both versions meet currently applicable safety rules, and these doors can also be manually operated in the conventional manner. This version is also available as a double-wing door.

RF sliding door

A further impressive solution for access to your RF-cage is our RF sliding door, which is also available as a two- piece version. Threshold-free access to the RF-cage from the control or prep room offers the greatest ease of use to bring patient beds into the RF-cage. Low maintenance, fast opening and closing as well as wider access are available. Furthermore, this solution is optimal for room situations in which workflow cannot accommodate a wing door due to narrow space considerations or in the operation room integrated with MRI.

RF window

Our RF window offers outstanding views from every viewing angle. Thanks to our special technology consist of two pieces of glass, containing a layer of fine almost invisible to the eye mesh observing the procedures within the RF-cage is incomparably easy. The end result means not only can scanner operators see patients more clearly but also importantly, patients do not feel as isolated for outside.
